I-TECH Financial Planning Analyst

The International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) is a federally-funded project which supports the development of HIV/AIDS care and treatment training initiatives serving healthcare providers in 25 developing countries acutely impacted by the global AIDS epidemic. I-TECH currently supports 10 international offices and approximately 500 international and domestic staff. I-TECH is an initiative of the University of Washington schools of Medicine and Public Health & Community Medicine and it partners with the University of California, San Francisco.

The Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for budget management, forecasting and reporting required to assure effective stewardship and oversight of approximately $50 million annually. The Financial Planning Analyst will report directly to the Managing Director of I-TECH, and will provide technical assistance and leadership to each of I-TECH's Country Directors and Country Project Managers to assure systems are in place to effectively and responsibly manage funds from multiple donors for multiple program activities. This position provides budget proposal development and assists in the technical preparation of budget requests.

Qualifications Required:
? Bachelor's Degree with major study in accounting, business administration or related field AND Five years of budget/financial work experience, with at least two years working in international contexts
? Ability to work with multiple foreign currencies
? Experienced user of QuickBooks or similar financial software
? Familiarity with GAAP/FASB accounting procedures
? Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Qualifications Desired:
? Master's Degree preferred.
? Strong preference given to candidates who have an understanding of and experience with international health program management.
